Well - I know they obviously exist, but if I want to join the 100 club should I count them, or should i just count registered ones? Is it that formal?

In the old days it would have just been registered boxes; however, these days you can count them.

I always count them and Godfrey accepts them.

I would apply a bit of personal discretion here...

Meaning, the last time I was out and about on me lonesome I found three identical stamps all about a mile apart, these were the "cheap" mass produced stamps

Sadly I think letterboxing has suffered from this spate of cheap stamps so there is nothing to stop one from making several copies of these stamps and claiming them as different stamps.

As I said it is upto the individual to claim them or not - personally i don't
Stamps of teddy bears that measure less than half an inch are, to be honest, a pathetic waste of time.
I think I have something like 5-600 of these stamps - which would take me well over my 5000 if I wanted to... but I prefer real stamps - stamps that people have commissioned or made themselves

i believe that irrespective of how they look, if you've walked miles, got soaked or even just gone to a different pub - the letterboxes you find should all count - obviously not the same boxes but if they're in different places they should be fine
